Short version
MyGall is a content site. Pages are public, no account is required to read them. The site uses standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how readers find name pages. There is no personal profile building.
What MyGall collects
- Server logs. Standard request logs (page URL, timestamp, IP, user agent) used to debug issues and prevent abuse. Logs are rotated regularly.
- Aggregated analytics. Page-view counts, referral sources, and basic device categories. No individual user is identified.
- Cookies. A small number of strictly necessary cookies for theme preferences, plus optional analytics cookies that you can decline.
What MyGall does NOT collect
- No accounts, no email signups behind the content.
- No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
- No selling of any data to anyone, ever.
Advertising
MyGall may display ads on some pages. Ads are served through standard ad networks that may use cookies. You can opt out of personalized ads through your browser or operating system privacy settings, and the site will continue to work normally.
Third party content
Embedded content from third parties (charts, fonts, search) follows the privacy practices of those services. Where MyGall can host a resource locally to avoid a third-party request, it does so.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA including the right to know, correct, and delete any data tied to you. Since MyGall does not maintain user accounts, the practical scope of these rights is limited to analytics cookies you have set, which you can clear from your browser at any time.
Cookies & consent
We use necessary cookies plus, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. In the EU/EEA these stay off until you opt in via our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.
Amazon affiliate cookies
When you click an Amazon link on our site, Amazon may set cookies to attribute any qualifying purchase to us. This is a third-party process governed by Amazon’s own privacy notice. These cookies are only set if you accept marketing cookies.
Children’s privacy (COPPA)
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
